How Our Boards Are Made

Hobie Surfboards is shaped by two pairs of hands: Gary Larson and Adam Davenport. Together, their decades of experience, knowledge, and expertise go into building the right board for each surfer, their needs, and the conditions they’ll be surfing. Just as importantly, our boards are built right here in Southern California. From lamination to sanding, gloss, and polish, every step is handled by a team of craftsmen with decades of experience in the glass shop.
