New Traditional

The New Traditional is one of Dale's all time favorites, and exactly what the name implies. It captures all the feel of his original Pig design while incorporating a handful of subtle refinements for today's surfer.

The outline would best be described as hippy, or "Piggie," but pulled in just enough through the hips to give it a more modern appeal. The deck profile stays nice and flat, with much of the rocker built into the bottom of the board. A generous amount of roll carries throughout the shape, beginning up front to help displace water, mellowing through the center, and transitioning into a rolled vee panel just ahead of the fin. The result is a smooth, flowing ride that feels right at home in the pocket.

The New Traditional delivers everything surfers love about classic logging without the cumbersome weight of a traditional log. It trims effortlessly, turns with ease, and carries the timeless feel that made Dale's designs legendary, all in a package that's approachable for modern surfers.
