All online orders are pulled directly from one of our three retail locations throughout South Orange County, CA. Due to this, most orders have a 2-3day processing time (excluding Weekends & Holidays) before they will ship.

If product from your order is out of stock, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Team.

If you have any questions regarding your order, please call us at 1-800-326-1744. Just as soon as we ship your order you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your tracking number. The e-mail has a link that goes directly to the tracking website so you can track the progress of your order.

Please note that FedEx and UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. You have to provide us with a street address that is covered by FedEx or UPS service.

Priority Mail 1,2 or 3-Day Shipping

Keep in mind that Priority Mail is not a guaranteed date-specific delivery service. Since most Priority Mail packages are delivered within 2 days, the USPS has added estimated delivery dates on the shipping label to help communication between the shipper and the package recipient. Delivery date estimates are based on where the package is being shipped from and where it is being delivered to.

In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available for our customers local to Orange County.  Within 2 to 3 business days you will be contacted by phone and/or email to notify you that your order is ready for pickup.  Order invoice and photo id are required to claim your package.

International Shipping

We do ship internationally and are preferred methods of shipment are: FedEx International Priority or FedEx International Economy.

All Orders that are shipped internationally may and most likely will be subject to Customs Duties, Tariffs, VAT’s and any other fee your country charges. Check with your Customs Office to clarify what fees will be charged to your order.Hobie Surf Shops does not incur any of these fees. FedEx will charge you these Fees when the package is delivered or picked up.

International customers are accountable for all shipping charges, including exchanges. You will be held responsible for the return shipping costs if the package is sent back for any reason.

Lost or Stolen Packages

While we do not anticipate a package being lost or damaged in transit, it does happen and we ask that you immediately contact us to file a claim for you with whichever carrier you have chosen to deliver your package.  In the event that a package is stolen and after a claim has been filed and delivery confirmed, will not accept responsibility for replacing or refunding the stolen merchandise.
