There’s nothing finer than good surfing paired with rock ’n’ roll. Dano Forte of Dano Surfboards is our resident authority on all things music and surf. A Costa Mesa native with deep roots in the Newport Beach scene, Dano brings decades of experience building boards at every level. When the opportunity came to collaborate with him on our 75th Anniversary in 2025, we jumped at the chance to create an open-edition model together.

The Iggy Stardust draws inspiration from one of Dano’s favorite ’60s shapers and a musician we all admire. The Iggy is all about refined trim, featuring the same rocker setup as our Phil Edwards and T. Martin Legacy Models. A flat yet continuous curve flows into a low, driving tail with just a touch of nose flip for clean entry. Where the Iggy truly separates itself is in its foil. A subtle S-deck delivers smooth, effortless section-making speed. Dano’s wider high-density foam tail block adds pocket control and a solid platform for committed cutbacks, while the stock high-density foam triple-stinger glue-up underscores the prestige of the design. The Iggy Stardust is ready for liftoff and built to put your next session into orbit.
