There's always a new buzzword making the rounds, from the digital world straight into the local lineup. Right now, it's Twinzers. While plenty of shapers are jumping on the bandwagon, a few never stopped building them. At Hobie, we love revisiting proven designs, refining them, and pushing them a little further every time.
Our Twinzer starts with our Retro Egg outline and a single channel flowing through the fins. Working alongside team rider Sean Haggar, the design has evolved with a sleeker nose, a pulled-in tail, boxier performance rails, and a full panel vee through the channel.
Built from lighter foam and finished with a 6 + 4 oz glass schedule, these boards are made to facilitate the shred while keeping the effortless speed, drive, and maneuverability that make the Twinzer so addictive. We like pairing them with the True Ames Twinzer or Pavel fin setups, but the final choice is yours.
