The 80s were a complicated time in surfboard design, with a prevalence of single fins, twins, and eventually the introduction of the thruster. Throughout this era, Hobie Surfboards stood as a constant presence, with shaper Terry Martin available to craft any desired surfboard. Our Creek Twin represents our modern interpretation of a classic from the 'New Wave' era.

Designed by 2023 Boardroom Icons of Foam winner Michael Arenal, the Creek Twin is built from US Blanks’ 60R for a progressive rocker and a traditional flat deck. The bottom contour of this Flock of Seagulls special features a full panel vee combined with True Ames’ classic twin glass-ons, ensuring unparalleled agility and control. Lastly, the double bumps will take the rider places that our Circa 71 model cannot. Arenal and our team encourage you to take the Creek Twin for a whirl at any SoCal beach break or cobblestone reef!
